In line with its mission of educating the whole person, Bright Life International School provides a representative structure for its students to be involved in school affairs where they can express themselves, share their ideas and work with the school management, staff and parents for the benefit of the school.
The BLIS Student Council is a group of elected students who serve as the voice of the other students. It helps share ideas, interests and concerns about the school. It also helps raise funds for school-wide activities, including social events, community projects and charity works. Student Council exists in the elementary school, middle school, and high school levels. The elected officers perform their duties with the supervision of a teacher who acts as their adviser.
Participation in the BLIS Student Council gives students the opportunity to develop leadership skills, promote diversity, nurture respect and value for all people, strive for academic excellence and build partnerships between the school and the community we serve.
